Simply fill out the form and one of our friendly agents will drop you a call. They will walk you through every step of the way and ensure you get up and running with your new Webafrica service as soon as possible.
You will need to cancel your existing service with your current ISP as soon as possible. There might also be a 30-day (sometimes a calendar month) notice period and cancellation/migration fees applicable, so be sure to check with the ISP upon cancellation.
Once your old ISP has released your Fibre line, our team will pick it up and your switch to Webafrica will be done! By then you would already have received a premium, pre-configured free-to-use router (delivery usually takes 3-5 days from when you ordered). All you would need to do is plug it in and start enjoying your FasterFast Fibre connection.
Less than you’d think, and in most cases, less than ADSL (if you consider the fact that you don’t need a landline for Fibre).
Webafrica has partnered with multiple underlying infrastructure providers to ensure that we can bring the best possible internet options to as many areas as possible. These are the guys who dig the trenches and lay the cables, while we make sure the network is waiting when they hit the “on” switch.
To find out which of our underlying infrastructure providers are available to you, simply type your address into our Fibre map above.
It will all depend on the cancellation terms of your current ISP and how long their cancellation notice period is. We suggest you cancel your service as soon as possible. You can also ask them to release your Fibre line as soon as possible.
As soon as they release your line, we will pick it up on our side and complete the switch.
There may be some downtime between the time that your current ISP releases your line and when we pick up that it's been released. It could be anything from a few minutes to a few days depending on when your Fibre Network Operator completes the switch. If everything goes like it's meant to, the downtime should be minimal.
You will need to double-check with your current ISP to find out if there are any cancellation fees or clawbacks applicable when you cancel.
Webafrica provides you with a fully insured, premium free-to-use Fibre router. So you are sorted. That said, you can use any router that has a LAN/WAN port, BUT it will need technical reconfiguring. We suggest you use ours. Everything will be set up for you and because it’s insured, if anything goes wrong you know you’re covered.
Please note: Our Free-to-Use routers can provide a 1Gbps wired connection. We cannot guarantee the wireless speed, 1Gbps is achievable under optimal conditions.
Nope! We don’t do lengthy contracts holding you down. All our recurring services are month-to-month based so if you want to cancel, you just need to give us one calendar month’s notice.
For sure! We wont charge you to change your package.
Upgrades are effective within 3 days of placing your upgrade request.
Downgrades are effective on the 1st of the new month (if you downgrade before the 20th, otherwise it will only be effective the next month)
If your Fibre box was damaged or removed, you will need to request an installation. Depending on the SLA terms of your specific Fibre Network Operator, installation can take from 7 days to 30 days. Please confirm the installation period with our agent who will be contacting you after you have filled out the above form.
All of our data packages are month-to-month, so you need only give one calendar month’s notice should you wish to cancel.
If you do choose to cancel, or if your account falls into a suspended state for longer than 30 days, your free-to-use router will be billed to you, or you may choose to return it to us at your own expense. Please ensure that the LAN cable and anything else which came in the router box is returned or these items will be billed to your account.
Should you cancel your service within 12 month’s of activation (or fall into a suspended state for longer than 30 days) you will be liable for any installation and / or connection fees which Webafrica initially subsidised on your behalf. These will be clawed back on your account.
